SANTORINI
We spent a long weekend on the island of Thira, better known as Santorini, as our final European trip before heading to Hong Kong. Despite its peaceful beauty today, the island has a dramatic history, shaped by one of the largest volcanic eruptions in recorded history around 1600 BCE.
With its iconic white buildings and unforgettable sunsets, Santorini provided the perfect setting for a memorable farewell to Europe.
